Between showroom

A few weeks ago you could read my interview with the Between designer duo, they are a young Hungarian brand, based in Budapest. In this time, I will show you my favorite pieces from the 2016 Spring/Summer collection and some secrets from the showroom.

First of all, the showroom is perfect located in the center of Budapest, close to the Corvin and next to the Museum of Applied Art. Not bad… the view is great from the window I can say, it could be inspiring for the designers. The history meets with the modern present. This 2016 Spring/Summer collection is the second one from the brand and also characteristic and memorable as the first one, the femininity meets with wildness. The dresses made by pure silk or light materials and they are completely dark or bright. My choice was an off-white two-piece set and a black dress both with the emblematic neckband. The off-white set could be perfect for a late night summer dinner with the friends or a summer city outfit and the black dress is the perfect working outfit for me.

Néhány héttel ezelőtt már olvashattátok a budapesti bázisú Betweenel készült interjúmat, amit itt megtaláltok. Ezúttal pedig a kedvenc darabjaimat fogom bemutatni az új kollekcióból, valamint néhány titkot is elárulok a showroomról.

Először is a showroom tökéletes helyen – Budapest belvárosában – közel a Corvinhoz, az Iparművészeti Múzeummal szemben található. Nem rossz… a kilátás az ablakból éppen a múzeumra néz, bizonyára inspiráló lehet ahogy a történelem találkozik a modern jelennel. A 2016-os tavaszi/nyári kollekció a második a márka életében és szintén karakterisztikus és emlékezetes mint amilyen az első volt. A nőiesség és a vadság a két központi elem, anyagok tekintetében pedig a selyem és különböző lágy anyagok dominálnak. Az én választásom egy tört-fehér kétrészes szettre és egy fekete ruhára esett. Mindkettő a márkára jellemző emblematikus nyakpánttal lett “megszelídítve”. A tört-fehér kétrészest már el is képzeltem egy nyári késő esti vacsorához vagy egy városi outfithez. A fekete ruhát pedig a munkahelyemen hordanám, ahol általában elegánsan kell öltözni, viszont modern, különleges darabokat szoktunk hordani.
